J211 Gateway Assignments
These assignments were done in the winter term for my Gateway to Media class. This class required me to venture into the Eugene community in order to find intriguing subjects who would be willing to tell their stories. This was a totally unique experience for me, but in the end I was grateful to have the opportunity.
This was my video submission for my final assignment in J211. I was tasked with finding an interesting member of the Eugene community and setting up a recorded interview. I would like to give a special thanks to officer Anthony Button and Thor for being amazing subjects.
For this assignment I chose to interview the owner and head chef of one of my new favorite restaurants, The Cluckin Dog. Say Pituk is a renowned chef who has opened many different restaurants across the country and has even appeared on Top Chef. She has an amazing story and also makes the best Korean Fried Chicken in Eugene!
